One van, 1,200 kg of vaccines, medicines and pet food, and a volunteer vet: our latest run has reached four shelters near the front line, and every delivery is signed for.

Our latest vet van left the warehouse before dawn, loaded with 1,200 kg of supplies: rabies and combination vaccines, wound dressings, antibiotics, flea and worm treatment, and several hundred kilos of dry dog and cat food.
A volunteer vet travelled with the van. Over four days it visited four small shelters near the front line, where many of the animals were left behind when their families fled.
At each stop the vet examined new arrivals, treated injuries and vaccinated every animal that needed it: more than 180 dogs and cats in total. Every delivery was handed over to a named shelter manager and signed for, so we can show supporters exactly where their donations went.
At one shelter, a dog that had been limping for weeks had a deep thorn removed from its paw. By the next morning it was running around the yard.
The shelters have already sent us their lists for the next run. If you can help us fill the van again, please give to one of our open appeals.
