The story
Dej Pac! is a sanctuary for dogs that have nowhere else to go: old, sick, disabled and traumatised dogs that most shelters cannot take. Many of them will live out the rest of their lives there.
Over the years, the sanctuary’s kennels had become badly worn. Roofs leaked, walls let in the wind, and floors were cracked and cold. For older dogs with sore joints, a damp, draughty kennel in winter is a real hardship.
Warmth, safety, hope
This fundraiser paid to repair and insulate the kennels: new roofing, sealed walls, raised and insulated floors, and safe doors and fencing. The aim was to make sure every dog had a warm, dry place to sleep, whatever the weather.
